Dad came home one night three weeks ago to find Rachel sitting with Mom on the couch with her lip bleeding and crying softly. It turns out that Rachel had taken a spill on the playground at school only about a half-hour before, and both bit through her lip and knocked her two front teeth loose. She checked out ok at the dentist, and since then her teeth and lip have healed up fine; still she now sports two little scars under her lower lip from where her teeth poked through.
